Mystic Caverns offers guided tours through two spectacular Ozark caverns at one location. The older cavern, Mystic, has been toured since the 1920's and is filled with beautiful calcite formations. The younger cavern, Crystal Dome, wasn't discovered until 1967 and has been maintained in pristine condition!

Our 6.5 mile paved walking trail guides you past beautiful limestone bluffs and tumbling waterfalls, over bridges formed of native stone or hand-crafted wrought iron, and a covered bridge of Amish construction. Our beautiful rainbow trout swim in clear spring-fed waters, easily visible as you pass by. Native Ozark wildlife can be seen throughout the wilderness park as you walk or hike on the many trails available. Biking is not only an enjoyable hobby but also a great form of exercise and no place is better suited for it than Dogwood Canyon. You can bring your own bike or single-speed, coaster-brake bikes are available in a variety of sizes (including kiddie carts) and provide a comfortable ride at your own pace. The path is paved and gently sloping, and is shared by walkers and trams. Bikes are rented on a first come, first served basis. Horseback riding at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park allows you to explore the Ozarks through the eyes of early settlers, discovering areas of the park not seen by the tram or from walking and biking trails. Located right along Little Indian Creek, the new Little Indian Stables has 24 stalls and gives guests the chance to meet the horses before setting out on their horseback adventure. Experienced wranglers guide guests on a leisurely ride while exploring ridges, hollows, old logging roads and other scenic views. We offer 1-hour horseback rides, or for more experienced guests wanting a longer horseback experience, we offer our Little Indian lunch ride! This ride is approximately 2 ½ hours with a break for lunch. Reservations are required.

Arkansas's largest state park in land area, Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area (HSPCA) covers a 12,056-acre tract of diverse Ozark landscape along the southern shore of 28,370-acre Beaver Lake. The park includes a wide variety of trails. This park's landscape consists of plateaus, ridges, valleys, and streams featuring an upland forest of oak, hickory and pine. Many water features including disappearing streams, springs and seeps have carved the many hollows in this fragile limestone landscape and created cave-related features including numerous sinkholes.

For hiking and biking enthusiasts, the park maintains over 25 miles of trails with varying terrains. Please note that all trails are closed to motorized vehicles. Hikers and bicyclists will enjoy solitude, wildlife, cool springs, an intermittent creek, historic stone walls and bridges, unusual rock formations and the beauty of nature. Fishing & boating fans will be glad to know that the park provides a paved boat ramp and a handicapped-accessible kayak & canoe launch!
