Our 6.5 mile paved walking trail guides you past beautiful limestone bluffs and tumbling waterfalls, over bridges formed of native stone or hand-crafted wrought iron, and a covered bridge of Amish construction. Our beautiful rainbow trout swim in clear spring-fed waters, easily visible as you pass by. Native Ozark wildlife can be seen throughout the wilderness park as you walk or hike on the many trails available. Biking is not only an enjoyable hobby but also a great form of exercise and no place is better suited for it than Dogwood Canyon. You can bring your own bike or single-speed, coaster-brake bikes are available in a variety of sizes (including kiddie carts) and provide a comfortable ride at your own pace. The path is paved and gently sloping, and is shared by walkers and trams. Bikes are rented on a first come, first served basis. Horseback riding at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park allows you to explore the Ozarks through the eyes of early settlers, discovering areas of the park not seen by the tram or from walking and biking trails. Located right along Little Indian Creek, the new Little Indian Stables has 24 stalls and gives guests the chance to meet the horses before setting out on their horseback adventure. Experienced wranglers guide guests on a leisurely ride while exploring ridges, hollows, old logging roads and other scenic views.
